Looking for ways to make your fall season a memorable one? Let’s dive in and see.

With fall on the horizon, we have so much to look forward to when it comes to fun activities and enjoyment for September and October. Let’s take a look at some of the joy filled events and activities you can do to embrace fall in Western New York.

First things first, when it comes to the beginning of fall, this means the start of cooler weather. Time to pack those tank tops and shorts in your closet and go fall clothes shopping! Sweaters, flannels, boots, etc! Many local/national stores all throughout Western New York have what you are looking for to restock your wardrobe this fall.

Now that you’re ready to face the chaotic weather, now is the time to consider some activities to partake in. It wouldn’t be fall if we didn’t go apple or pumpkin picking! There are tons of orchards and farms where you can get the finest apples and pumpkins. Some places include Becker Farms, an apple orchard with a variety of all kinds. One of the most known places for great pumpkins is obviously The Great Pumpkin Farm, located in Clarence, NY. Right on their website they state “The Great Pumpkin Farm is all about wholesome fun, great food, and everything the season has to offer.” They also offer many fun things for kids to do on top of picking pumpkins.

Football season is here! With the Buffalo Bills being one of the teams who favored to win the Super Bowl this year, go watch a game! Football is a fun sport to watch during this time of year especially when you’re a Bills fan.

In the months of September and October, consider attending a fall festival around your area. Bring out your friends and family and spend some good quality time with the people you love by having fall-themed fun. There are many different but fun festivals happening all around Western NY such as the Harvests and Hops festival in Lewiston the weekend of September 24th and 25th. A simple crafts and farmer’s market is a great way to get into the fall spirit but getting some fresh fall fruit! Following the month of September, Oktoberfest is back and is coming to many different locations all throughout our area (this is if you are of drinking age of course).

With Halloween coming up, now would be the perfect time to start thinking and making your costume! Spirit Halloween is back in town and has tons of good costumes and decorations to get you in the spirit of Halloween.

These are just examples of some of the ways you can make the most out of your fall, but one thing you for sure need to do this season, is make sure you’re having fun! Think of some other cool things you can do with friends and family or even by yourself! Have a happy fall!
